Every dirt enthusiast should visit the Maasvallei Park, a big private fenced area of 250 ac / 1 km². The terrain is located in Lanklaar and contains a huge lake, big artificial mountains (terrils) and all of these and even more are surrounded by a beautiful forest with striking fauna and flora. Inside this amazing terrain, it is situated the coolest bike park, called The Filthy Trails.
The Filthy Trails circuit contains many trails for various sports, one of which is motocross.
The routes are varying between 5-7-9-11 and 13.5 km / 3.1-4.6-5.1-8.6 mi long and the level of difficulty depends on the trail, the consistence of the ground and the trails features. The routes are 5 and include hard climbs with technical descents. The shortest route of 5 km / 3.1 mi long is a lovely easy route where you can enjoy the magnificent and friendly environment.
The longest route 13.5 km / 8.6 mi long is only for pros who want to advance their technique and push themselves into the limits by climbing and descending all the terrils. If it is adventure and high speed you are looking for, this is the place for you. Remember to bring food and drinks with you and to call first to learn the opening hours.
