As the thermal winds can reach up to 16 knots/30 kph mainly in the afternoon, the sport’s enthusiasts can have endless fun with the wind and the waves.
The best wind direction is when coming from North or Southeast and during summer, the side-onshore winds create the perfect conditions for freestyle and wave kite-surfing in the crystal clear waters of the Black Sea. The beach is sandy and there is a wide opening, where you can launch your kite.
Kite-surfing lessons as well as gear rentals and a kite shop are provided on the spot. If you visit Kazeboo Beach early or late in the summer season, make sure to take with you long wet suites because of the low sea temperatures. Note that the beach is ultra crowded during high season. Kite-surfers should be careful of bathers and jet skies.
