Barbados is situated west of the Atlantic Ocean and east of the Caribbean Sea. It is also standing on the eastern side of the islands of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and on the north-eastern side of Trinidad and Tobago. The capital city, as well as the largest city in Barbados is Bridgetown. It is located on the southwestern side of the island.

Barbados has a tropical monsoon climate. Two main seasons are distinct. The first one is known as the ”dry season”, lasting from June to November and the second is the ”wet season”, lasting from December to May. The temperature averages from 21°C/69.8°F to 31°C/87.8°F.
