Mount Ashland Ski Resort, Bend
Mount Ashland is the tallest peak of Siskiyou Mountains, reaching at 7500 ft/2286 m. The spot is a majestic place to visit, if you are a fan of nature and sports.
Elbrus or as it is known Azau Ski Resort belongs to the unique ski resorts in Russia. Housed in the vicinity of the highest European Mountain, it does not need much commercial. But glory is not the only thing that gives popularity to this rocky edge.
The magic nature of the area attracts people all year. The convenient proximity of the mountain provides the best conditions for any kind of riding and especially alpine skiing.
The freeriders will love the area above the last station. The cable car Elbrus takes skiers to the last station to make their long dizzying descents. The large amount of snow fall, which guarantees deep snow throughout the season, creates perfect conditions for skiing.
The total length of the skiing slopes is 35 km/21.1 mi. The number of trails is 27 and most of them are located at an altitude between 2100 m/6890 ft and 3800 m/12467 ft.
The trails on mount Elbrus are characterized by varying levels of difficulty and are suitable for all levels. There are 2 trails for novices, 5 for intermediate skiers, 10 for advanced skiers and 10 for experts. Elbrus slopes are flat and wide with small changes in elevation.
The trails are served by 7 lifts, 1 cable, 2 gondolas, 3 chairlifts and 1 T-bar. The opening of the ski season occurs sometime in November until June. Closure of the ski season may not occur, as some times ski season has successfully roll into the summer.
