When the conditions are ideal, the wind blows from the southwest, south, southeast or east and the swell comes from the southwest or south. Waves can get pretty powerful and just perfect!
The regional classic wave that breaks regularly is appropriate for all levels of surfers. On normal days, the wave length is long up to 150 m/492 ft, while on good days it reaches up to 300 m/984.3 ft.
The swell there starts working at less than 1 m/3 ft and holds up to 3+ m/10+ ft. The spot works well at all tides and the best movement is falling tides. Dangers encountered are rocks and rips/undertow.
