Soup Bowl has been rated as “top 3 waves in the world” thanks to its great curve that allows all sorts of maneuvers and airs. Furthermore, good swell direction is from Northeast. During winter N swells, you will come across the heavy Bowls, while a hurricane S direction may provide a lot of fun to the Soup, holding its excellent shape. The wind’s best direction is from Southwest and South.
The swell size starts working at 1.0-1.5 m / 3-5 ft and holds up to 5 m / 16 ft and over. Rising and falling tides are the best tide movements. The spot hosts few surfers during both week-days and week-ends. Last but not least, while exercising your activity, be careful of urchins and rips.
