Showcasing the first independent international surf films & documentaries festival in South East Asia, Ombak Bali Surf Film Festival is getting ready to launch its 8th edition on August 2015.
Right on Seminyak beach in Bali Indonesia, Ombak Bali Surf Film Festival proudly presents the 8th edition of an amazing selection of surf films and documentaries, while giving the opportunity to filmmakers to present their work in a wider audience.
Some of the 18 films participating in this year’s festival include: Devocean – Maka Patrice Ramos/ Indonesia & France/ 2015/ 42 min, The Fisherman’s Son – Chris Malloy/ Chile & USA/ 2015/ 30 min, The Wave I ride – Devyn Bisson/USA/ 2015/ 99 min, Arctic Swell – Chris Burkard/ USA/ 2014/ 8 min, Bear Island – Inge Wegge & Edda Grjotheim/ Norway/ 2014/ 82 min, Into the Sea – Marion Poizeau/ France & Iran/ 2014/ 52 min and many more.
The big screen will be placed on the sand and in this amazing setting under the stars, visitors will have the chance to enjoy some of the best films and documentaries devoted in surf culture. Note that there is no entrance fee so just sit back, get a refreshing cocktail or a cold beer and travel beyond the waves with Ombak Bali Surf Film Festival!
