Canada’s Hottest Beach Festival, the Monster Energy Center of Gravity (MECOG) is coming back for its 9th year. From the 8th to the 10th of July, Canadians and people from all over the world will be gathered on the beautiful shores of the Okanagan Lake and Kelowna’s City Park for another yet action packed festival of sports, music & bikinis on beautiful sandy beaches.
The Wet Ape Productions & Live Nation are doing a great job organizing a one of a kind sports & music festival. Live music performances, DJ shows and some fierce competition among the world’s top professional extreme sports athletes are just some of the highlights. Skriller, Ice Cube, Afrojack and more will keep you entertained at the duration of the festival action, whereas several after parties are being organized for when the festival grounds are closed. For the sports lovers, there’s lots to discover and give a try of. Check out the Freestyle Progression’s giant action sports airbag & stair tower in the Adrenaline Zone and live a thrilling experience jumping off from the 25ft and 37ft platforms. Other sports options include zorb soccer, beach volley, grass volley, a water sports zone and of course moto sports zone! Some of Canada’s biggest motocross names will be showcased at the MECOG in July. Kris Foster, Brett Turcotte, Kyle Demelo to name just a few.
