Aruba Hi-Winds, Palm Beach
The celebrations for the 30th edition of the Aruba Hi-Winds will also see the organizers hosting the IFCA PAN-AMERICAN SLALOM CHAMPIONSHIPS. The event will take place from July 11 to July 15 – where else? – in Aruba!
National Watersports Festival
On September 2 – 4th, The National Watersports Festival (NWF) will be back to host more than 500 competitors from the windsurfing and SUP community for a three day, back to back action weekend with a host of racing, parties, trade shows, tester sessions, camping and family focused on-shore activity.
Around 10,000 spectators are expected to converge on Hayling Island and enjoy the watersports action and even ‘have a go’ in the taster sessions that are available throughout the festival weekend.
Windsurfing: Coordinated by the United Kingdom Windsurfing Association (UKWA), the windsurfing competition includes 2 main fleets. The National Fleet – for sailors who have competed in a National Level-and the Freeride fleet – for those who have never competed in a National Level. SUP: Providing many trade stands, demo equipment and series of clinics conducted by coaches who will explain how to get the best from the world’s fast growing water sport, the NWF SUP sessions will be in a 2 day format that includes battle of the paddle and the survivor elimination rounds in order to qualify for the Saturday night survivor.
