If you want to make the difference and surf to a non-ordinary place, then you should definitely visit Sandwood Bay in Scotland.
This is an isolated place that offers 1.5 mi/2.4 km of bay that is flanked by rugged cliffs and a fantastic sea stack. It is quite difficult to find the spot, but once you get there, you can have the beach for yourself.
As the beach is facing northwest to the Atlantic, it is constantly pretty blustery. Winds are strong, coming from the north and northwest direction, giving an extraordinary swell. Be prepared for that and go ahead, only if you are an experienced surfer. The waves are beach breakers and break from left and right. On a good day, it can give you some 150 m / 492 ft of wave-length. Because of the location, expect water to be cold at all times as well as during summer, so carry a full suit with you.
You will definitely enjoy privacy in that place, but the price for that is that there are no facilities nearby, so be sure to bring your own food and everything else necessary for your comfort.
