Sierra Nevada's ski resort lies on Veleta peak, in the Granada part of the mountain. Your starting point is Pradollano. From there, the first lifts take you to the main hub, Borreguiles, at about 457 m/1500 ft above the main village.
Borreguiles is surrounded by beginner terrain with easy slopes at an altitude of 2102 m / 6896 ft and a vertical drop of 1200 m / 3937 ft in total.
At Borreguiles, there are two lifts from Pradollano, and up to 6 chairlifts, t-bars, magic carpets and handle tows to move you around. There are about 10 easy, 4 medium and 3 advanced trails to choose from. With plenty of training schools, it’s the perfect spot for beginner skiers.
