Alp 2500 is a complex of ski resorts in La Cerdanya, Catalonia, in the Pyrenees mountains of northeastern Spain. It includes the two towns of La Molina and Masella, whose two respective ski areas are joined to form Alp 2500.
La Molina is a ski resort in the municipality of Alp in Girona. The temperature is about 1°C to 17°C/33.80°F to 62.60°F throughout the year, with February being the coldest month. Next to Roc Blanc pistes, there is the Alabaus Snowpark, at about 1825 m / 5987 ft of altitude.
It represents a unique spot in the Pyrenees, holding a big variety of events, competitions and exhibitions like the Malamute, DC Warriors or FIS. Furthermore, the Catalonia Snowboard 2011 Championship has been held on the spot, including competitions like half pipe, big air, parallel giant and slope style.
Here, you will find the incredible Alabaus superpipe. It is 170 m/557 ft long, 5.20 m/17 ft high, with width less than 14 m/45 ft, 24 m/78 ft overall width, and outer sides of 5 m/16 ft wide. With two big air, rails and boxes, it’s the perfect spot for snowboarders.
