Scuba Diving in Seacliff Reef, Adelaide, South Australia Australia

Maximum depth:
15 m/49 ft
Adelaide, the liveliest city in Australia, is the capital of South Australia state. The city is situated on the Adelaide Plains and more specifically at the north side of Fleurieu Peninsula. The city is built next to Torrens River and is surrounded by the Mount Lofty Ranges and the Gulf St Vincent.

The metropolitan area of Adelaide is famous for the variety and great number of diving sites it has to offer (you can visit here some of the most impressive shipwrecks in the whole world). The waters have the perfect temperature for scuba diving (warm during the summer and crystal clear during the winter), and are generally friendly and uncrowded.

The Seacliff Reef is considered to be the best diving site on the coast of Adelaide, due to the spectacular fish populations the area hosts at relatively shallow depth. You can actually sit at the bottom of the sea and admire hundreds of fish without having to move around.

Be prepared to see many Blue Devils, cuttlefish, old wives, strongies, spider crabs, bullseyes and at some places the beautiful leafy sea dragon.

Suitable for divers of all levels. Average viz: 10 m/32 ft.  Maximum depth: 15 m/49 ft.
