Cape Town’s skydiving is within a 40 minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of the city centre and 12 km/7 mi from Atlantis. The drop zone is rich with exhilirating view of the Mother City, which is in-between the majestic Table Mountain and the humming Table Bay Harbour. After this scenic experience, then comes the moment of terror!!
Brace yourself for a 200 km/124 mi per hour free fall, lasting between 25 -40 seconds, depending on what altitude your exit was. Altitude ranges between 9000- 11000 ft/2743.2-3352.8 m. At 5000 ft/1524 m, the parachute will be unleashed as for a 3- 4 minutes parachuting before coming back to reality.
Skydiving can be practiced from Monday to Monday, weather dependant, and operates between 9am and 16pm. Maximum weight limit is 100 kg/220 lb. For children under 18 years, parental consent is required. Due to limited availability, make a point of booking in advance.
