Alto Campoo is located in the Cantabrian Mountains of the northern part of Spain, occupying a high mountain valley near the town of Reinosa. It is a very popular spot of beautiful scenery, with the source of River Ebro nearby, one of Spain's longest rivers. Although it is a relatively small resort, it is still the biggest in the area, with stunning views and peaks of over 2000 m/6561 ft.
The resort provides 23 pistes with a total length of 28 km/17 mi. It has 5 chair lifts and 8 ski tows with the first lift is at 1650 m/5413 ft and the top lift at 2175 m/7135 ft.
The difficulty of the resort ranges from easy to intermediate, so it is suitable for beginners and children. However, the spot also features a snow-park with 6 jumps and a few rails. Several apartments can be found at the town Branavieja near the base of the resort. There are a few shops and schools to buy, repair or even rent your equipment.
