Mount Shasta is located in northern California, east of Interstate 5 along SR89, between Mount Shasta city and McCloud city, California, USA.

Mount Shasta is inside Shasta – Trinity National Forest. Mount Shasta is the second highest volcano in the Cascade Range. Nordic Lodge, located at Mount Shasta Ski Park is Ashland’s closest full service Nordic Ski area. Despite being part of a bigger resort, it offers cross country ski trails far from the alpine activity, creating exhilarating atmosphere.

There is a mix of trail level, that provides some of the best variety in the region. The trails are well groomed and wide. Enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Shasta and the breathtaking vista of powdered snow, while lying on the rocks, land and under trees.

Annual snowfall reaches up to 280 in/711.2 cm, prolonging the ski season until early May and the Nordic Lodge takes full advantage of it.
