Vilamoura is a tourist destination, located on the Algarve coast, specifically laid in the municipality of Loule in the Algarve. It is approximately 24.5km/15mi from Faro, the southernmost city in Portugal. It is the largest tourist group in Europe and well known for its opulence. In winter the wave swell size is between 6.5-10 ft (2-3 m), but sometimes there are waves with swell size more than 10 ft (>3 m).
