Squaw Valley Ski Resort is located in Olympic Valley, California, USA. It is one of the largest ski areas in the US after Heavenly and was the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics.

One of the most beautiful trails for leisurely bicycling is Lake Tahoe. Begin your journey in Squaw Valley and ride besides the Truckee River all the way down to the sparkling blue waters of the Lake Tahoe.
The trail is separated from Route 89 and provides a view of wonderful landscape during the tour in the Tahoe area. There are three well known bike paths to follow, Squaw/Tahoe City, a 7.1 mi/12.3 km bike path, North Lake, a 2.1 mi/4.4 km bike path and West Shore, a 9.6 mi/15 km bike path.
