Sunshine Coast is situated between Port Elizabeth and East London in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Sand-boarding is very popular here and is open to all levels. The dunes are easily accessible and before embarking on the boards, there is a small intro on how to use and wax the boards.
The expeditions normally last from 2 – 6 hours. It is advisable to start on the smaller dunes as work yourself to steeper dunes and you can try sand-boarding while standing, sitting or lying down on the board.
