Wenatchee is the largest city of Chelan County, located in North Central Washington and lies on the west side of the Columbia River. The city is also known as the Apple Capital of the world, due to the valley's many apple cultivations.
Chiwawa River runs through the Wenatcee National Forest, giving into the Wenatchee River. The Kayaking adventure, starts from Huckleberry Campground near Brush Creek, towards Wenatchee River.
The route is 11 mi/17.7 km long, with a class 3 difficulty for normal flows and range from 1100 to 2000 c.f.s. Chiwawa River is perfect for intermediate and advanced kayak lovers. Because of its width as well as the height of its water, there are continuous rapids all the way, fun surf spots, holes and floating logs you have to avoid.
