In the regional unit of Drama, in northern Greece, you will find Falakro. It's a beautiful and impressive mountain. The ski center of Falakro attracts many people, who love the games with the snow and need the adrenaline in their life. Its altitude is at 1750 m/5741 ft and operates from November until April. It offers 4 green slopes, 4 black, 1 blue, 6 red and 2 for beginners. It also provides with 9 lifts. There are 2 chairlift (4 per, 2 per) and 7 t-bar lift/platter/button lift (5 t-bar, 2 j-bar).
There is a snowboard piste for the lovers of this kind of sports. Play extreme games with the slopes, feel the passion and be the king of your board. If you need an expert to improve your skills, there is a snowboard school in the ski center, in case you need. You can also take a breath and relish a cup of coffee in the three beautiful chalets.
If you want to escape from the ski center, take a ride in the villages around, such as Volakas. Admire the traditional housing, feel the hospitality of the villagers, listen to their stories and when you feel hungry, find a tasteful restaurant and taste the Greek food. You can also find comfortable accommodations, in case you feel tired. Take your board, and leave everything behind you.
