Wenatchee is the largest city of Chelan County, located in North Central Washington and lies on the west side of the Columbia River. The city is also known as the Apple Capital of the world, due to the valley's many apple cultivations.
Nason Ridge Trail is located on the Cascade Mountain, next to Wenatchee Lake. It is 17.6 mi/28 km long and has an elevation gain of 3100 ft/944 m. The best time to bike this trail is during summer. It is not suitable for beginners because it is long, it has ridge line riding and steep climbs.
Nason Ridge Trail is an advanced uphill ridge ride, that leads you through lush forest, but at the end of the trail you can admire great panoramic views of Wenatchee Lake and Round Mountain. Don’t forget to take with you plenty of water, energy snacks, a map and a compass.
