This is a trail extended parallel to North Umpqua River, covering more or less 60 mi/96.56 km in the area.
Located near Roseburg, this track is well known for its diversity and playfulness. It is mostly a single track exposed downhill on one side, however it has enough length to make it safe but also exciting. This route begins at 4000 ft/1219 m and then it descends. It includes crossing water and that is why some parts might be muddy and rocky, but the scenery repays you for all the trouble. You can see beautiful waterfalls nearby.
Other parts of the route include fast downhill descent for the more experienced ones, technical parts and peaceful riding through a dense forest, offering an amazing view. So this trail has something for everyone, some people even go hiking there to enjoy nature, while the river close by is another play-land for water sports.
Best time to visit is summer and spring months. No need to worry about accommodation, as you can spend the night on campgrounds scattered around the river or choose one of the hotels nearby.
