Mountains’ altitude can reach up to 1245 m/4084 ft and someone can come across unique and beautiful flora and fauna such as Ptarmigan, Doteral, Red and Roe deer, Red Grouse etc. There is a 3.2 km/2 mi long biking track accessible by the Cairnwell chairlift.
This track’s grade of difficulty is listed blue, including two uphill sections and it will take you 10 minutes to ride them across. Be aware of other people crossing the track as this track is not a biking dedicated one. Apart from the coffee shop, there is a shop which sells biking accessories and equipment.
Accommodation is not a problem as there are many places around like Blairgowrie, Alyth, Kirkmichael and the Spittal where there is room rental services.
