At 54 km/33 mi in the north of Aberdeen city, there is a town called Broadsea Point bay. The bay starts from the town of Fraserburgh until the eastern side of Cairnbulg Point.

Broadsea Point is a beach, preferred by surfers and wind surfers. Best period to visit is from April to October. The spot is recommended for experienced wind surfers, as it becomes really rough when it’s windy and the beach itself is formed by rocks and pebble.

The positive aspect of the spot is that due to its unpopular character, you can find the best and not crowded spots for wind surfing. A good wind direction is south and southwest, which can produce a good swell starting from 2.5 m/8 ft high and reaching up to 5 m/16 ft.

In addition, waves are very powerful and hollow, that’s why it is recommended only for experienced practitioners to use this beach. Many hazard issues, like coral and reed bed-sea, very large swell and strong tidal pull to mention some. Just, come and enjoy the best surfing!!!
