A well known summit of Newberry Volcano is Paulina Peak, the host of many extreme sports. This volcanic area is located near the cities of Bend and La Pine.

The park offers 18 slopes and 11 lifts and the first in Norway, Olympic standard Superpipe which is at 7.2 m/23.6 ft high and 160 m/525 ft long. The terrain park is amazing and has five slopes with a chairlift.
The park is a wonderland for snowboarders. Due to its modern and professional design, the Arctic Challenge Contest is hosted on the spot every year, as a part of the World Snowboard Tour. Twenty top riders from all over the world take part in this event, competing on a fantastic snow terrain with 30 rails, lots of jumps and two half-pipes.
The riders focus on their tricks, combined with the overall impression in order to win. Oslo Vinterpark provides a shop with a wide range of equipment to rent, many activities for beginners and advanced riders, great quality snow and challenging runs.
