One of the most popular landmarks of the spot is the Egyptian inspired architecture of the Sunway Pyramid Shopping Center. A huge lion sculpture guards the entrance of the shopping mall. This impressive installation has become one of the most famous spots to visit in Bandar.
Sunway Lagoon Park is located next to the Pyramid, offering all kinds of activities and entertainment. It is divided in five sections with different theme parks, all of them offering endless fun. But one of the best things to do in Sunway Lagoon is to try the first and only (so far) bungee jumping in Malaysia.
Located in the extreme park section, over the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world (428 m/1404 ft long), one of the most amazing experiences await the courageous ones for a free fall jump. The platform is at an elevation of 22 m/72 ft high, about the height of an eight to nine stores building. The length of the bungee cord is a 5.5 m/18 ft long one, capable to stretch out about four times its length.
You can see everything from up there as well as people passing by with the flying fox lines right across you. The funny thing is that you land on water. Once you are through with the swinging, a boat picks you up and you can start all over again if you wish.
You can also choose the individual bungee jump or the water touch, where you can actually dive into the water before the cord pulls you up again. This might not be the most extreme bungee you will ever do, but it is certainly more than enough to boost up your adrenaline levels and make you feel the thrill of free falling.
