Alexandra Headland is an exposed beach and point break that provides both left and right hand waves. The spot is appropriate for beginners and advanced surfers alike. Here you are able to explore the waves with swell sizes that can hold up to 3 m/10 ft. The best wind direction is from the southwest and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast. In addition, the best tide position is mid and high tide. The average water temperature is around 28°C/82.4°F in summer and around 20°C/68°F in winter.
