Artificial Reef is a sheltered reef break that provides with both left and right hand waves. Offshore winds blow from the east and the ideal swell direction is from the northwest. Surfers are able to explore the waves with swell sizes that can start from 1 m-1.5 m/3 ft-5 ft and hold up to 2.5 m/8 ft.
In addition, the spot is suitable for surfers of all levels. The best tide position is low and mid tides and the ideal tide movement is rising and falling tides. Furthermore, Artificial Reef is usually crowded, especially during weekends. Finally, there are surf schools and shops at your disposal. Note: be careful of sharks.
