Trigg Beach is located approximately at 14 km/8.7 mi away from Perth. The location is protected by a limestone reef, providing great conditions for water-sports. It is an exposed beach and point break, offering very consistent surf possibilities at all stages of the tide. Offshore winds blow from the east and the ideal swell direction is from the west, southwest.
Surfers are able to explore the waves with swell sizes that can start from 1 m-1.5 m/3 ft-5 ft and holds up to 2.5 m/8 ft. In addition, the best tide position is all tides. Keep in mind that, the optimum period for waves is winter. Furthermore, the spot is suitable for all surfers. Trigg beach is usually crowded with divers, snorkelers and other surfers. Last but not least, the site provides a number of facilities, including a car park and a ramp for disabled access.
