Hamburg (Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg) is the second largest city in Germany, the thirteenth largest German state and the sixth largest city in the European Union. It is situated on the river Elbe while its port is the second largest port in Europe and tenth worldwide. Hamburg is known for its big sporting activity among others.

Pinneberg lies at about 25 min away, on the northwest of Hamburg. In the southern part of Pinneberg, an old dirt track is located that it has been renewed. In 1984 a BMX track had been created but after the end of BMX boom, it was largely abandoned and left for years as an unused track. An available 10 cm /3.9 in wide track is what it has been from the original 3 m /9.1 ft in width BMX race track.

The area had been a hotspot for riders where turns and jumps was a constant challenging venture an advanced rider could only dream of. It was like a little haunted trail. A few years ago, a new trail has come into light. Now the track has tables, doubles and advanced berms, so you can jump depending on the driving shaft and your skills, wide and high jumps can be attempted or you can just drive on the Chickenway.

The area is beautifully green, with trees relatively shady and blowing up. The lining is made of 100% clay and is therefore difficult to ride, due to prolonged rainfall. It is an awesome new dirt BMX track that if you are a serious BMX rider and enthusiast, you should definitely even just visit the spot for the shake of its past history.
