It is best to launch your windsurf  from the south side of Rickenbacker Causeway, since there is a lot of debris in the sea on the north side.

The weather conditions provide from flat to choppy waves most of the year round. Biscayne Bay is a perfect spot for windsurfing and a great opportunity to admire wonderful views of Miami. You can arrange lessons or rent gear on the spot. Note that the sea current can be strong close to the bridge.
