Bethune Point Skateboard Park is located next to Halifax River and it has opened its gates in 2009. It is the first municipal skate board park in Daytona Beach and one of the top facilities for skating in Florida. Designed and constructed by two companies that design skate parks for the X-Games competition, it is now a hot spot, offering non stop fun to the skaters.
The facilities include on a precast concrete terrain, an in ground bowl with pool tile coping, a broken pyramid, an extra wide bent penny, rails and ramps and many more unique installations that will challenge even the most advanced skaters.
Bethune Point Skateboard Park is open all year round, seven days a week from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm and is suitable for all skill levels. BMX bikes and inline skaters are welcome. The park also includes a wide parking area, picnic tables, restrooms, baseball fields and a boat ramp with fishing dock.
