Born at Porto city and went to live near the beach when I was 2 years old. Start to skateboard at 8 years old and surf at 14. Kite appeared to me 13 years ago when I saw on TV some crazy Hawaiians riding waves with a kite. Being a surfer the sport took part of my life really easy and especially when I made my first jump. Now it’s my job (and addiction) being a pro team rider for best kiteboarding and an instructor.

Kitesurf the biggest wave ever or barrel.
What would be your greatest achievement?
Riding the biggest wave ever or barrel with a kite.
What kind of difficulties does your sport’s performance involve?
Mother nature. The combination of perfect conditions of waves, wind and deal with ocean hazards.
What makes you feel satisfied when performing your sport?
Making a huge jump or barrel.
What do you do during your training which is key to your success?
Top secret
What are you most nervous about when competing?
I am nervous until the point I go out. Once inside the water everything goes away.
Who would you say is your biggest fan and why?
My wife because she says it a lot :)
What is the best piece of advice you have been ever given?
If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together.
What are your future plans?
Chase big waves with my tow inmates.
What are your tips for those who begin now?
Go big but safe first.
