Mammoth Mountain is located in California’s eastern Sierra, at 100 mi/161 km south of Nevada State line and 50 minutes from the Eastern Gate of Yosemite National Park.

If visitors want to overnight, they can stay in the town. It is perfect for heli skiing. It is a heart racing experience, waiting on the top of the mountain to ski on this beautiful white powder. The flight alone is mind-blowing.

On the Mountain, there is a summit elevation of 11053 ft/3369 m and a hefty 3100 ft/945 m of vertical drop. There is a lift system of 28 lifts that are numbered in the way they were built. The Panoramic Gondola takes you to the top, where you should tack right to the Upper Bowl.

The wider bowl fills with a series of plunging drops. Average snowfall is 400 in/1016 cm. The ski season lasts from November to June.
