But, you need the right spot! Don’t worry, because Costa da Caparica beach is ready for you. This place is located in Portugal, in the municipality of Almada, along the western coast of Setubal. The waves are powerful, fast and fun. In detail, in autumn, the waves swell size is from 1.3-2 m (4-6.5 ft) to 2-3 m (6.5-10 ft) and the wind blows offshore 25%. In spring, the waves swell size is from 1.3 to 3 m (4-10 ft) and the wind blows offshore 21%. In winter, we have waves with swell size from 2-3 m (6.5-10 ft), but sometimes the waves are >3 m (10 ft) and the wind blows offshore 36%. In summer, the wind blows offshore 4% and the waves swell size is 1.3-2 m (4-6.5 ft).
Kitesurf schools are near the spot, with experts at your disposal, in case you need someone to brush up your skills. Last, but not least, you can taste the food in the lovely restaurants, or drink a coffee and spend time with your friends. If you feel tired, there are accommodations where you can take a nap.
