Pemba is a port town in Mozambique and the capital of the Cabo Delgado Province. It lies on a peninsula in Pemba Bay, which is the third-largest natural bay in the world. It is a prime destination for water sports and diving enthusiasts as the corals reef lies close to the shore. Climate here is tropical humid with average temperatures between 22-32°C/71.6-89.6°F.

Murrebue boasts at least a 10 km/6.2 mi of white sandy beach with cross-on shore winds throughout the seasons. The spot offers an amazing kite-surfing experience with northeast, southwest and east wind directions and the fact that it is not a crowded spot, makes it even more epic.

Kite-surfing here accommodates both the novice and expert kite-surfer and allows for the best freestyle session in tropical waters. It works well on both low and high tide making room to wave riding, free riding, bump and jumping. The best months to kite-surf in Murrebue is between the months of August to March with winds blowing between 15-20 Knots.
