Safety Bay is a southern suburb of Perth and the ideal destination for a number of water-sports. It is very popular for the extreme sport fans, offering designated areas for windsurfing and kite-surfing. With a medium wind force, usually at 16-25 knots, the spot offers great sea breeze conditions from October to April. Safety Bay, as the name implies, is an appropriate spot for both the beginner and the experienced kiter, due to flat, shallow water.
