Woodman Point is located at about 23 km/14 mi away from Perth. It is popular amongst windsurfers and kiters as it provides excellent sea breeze conditions, especially from November to March. The wind force is medium, usually at 15-25 knots. In addition, it can work in almost any wind direction, but the best direction is from the southwest.
The location is appropriate for beginner to intermediate kiters. Keep in mind that, the north side around the spot is much shallower, so it is more suitable for kiters. Last but not least, there are kite-surfing schools, training centers and shops at your disposal. Note: be careful of fishing lines and sharp shells when rigging up.
