Bahariya Oasis is located in the south west of Cairo, in the heart of Egyptian Western Desert. Starting point for the White and the Black Deserts, Bahariya Oasis, surrounded by a chain of black hills covered by thin gold sand, is an excellent natural arena for sand-boarding.
Bahariya depression is known widely as a starting point for various touristic and archaeological excursions.
