The city of Des Moines constructed this sought after skatepark, in order to please all skateboarding junkies. The park is located behind the Four Mile Community Center. It is a 5000 ft² / 464.52 m² street plaza type park with concrete riding surface. It is a small park that hosts both novice and expert skateboarders, providing gentle features, such as ledges, banks and pads that all flow together, as well as a featuring transfusion.
Also, an existing balcony provides a great spectator viewing area. Be aware that during your skateboarding, the park is supervised. The park is open from dawn to dusk and the admission is free. So, visit this skatepark and get dirty, performing the most challenging activity!
