Alpika Service Mountain Ski Resort is one of the resorts found in the Krasnaya Polyana complex and is the perfect place to practice alpine skiing. The 6 ski lifts were the first in Krasnaya Polyana.
Nowadays 4 queues of ski lifts serve 1698 m/5570 ft of vertical drop with the first built in 1993 and the fourth in 2004. The total amount of tracks is 10 and 4 are for experts, while novices, intermediate and advanced skiers have 6 tracks, 2 for each level.
Public slopes cover a huge area of 25 km/16 mi and 7 km/4.6 mi of the tracks are equipped. The resort offers the help of qualified instructors to guide you through skiing basics and equipment rentals and repair, if you lack the necessary gear.
The resort includes 5 cableway stages located in varying altitudes. The forest zone covers the route along the first three stages of ropeway with a standard length of not less than 7 km/4.6 mi and a width that varies between 50 and 150 m/164 and 492 ft.
The fourth stage is for those who adore off piste skiing, as it offers 2 to 6 km/1.5 to 3.1 mi of virgin slopes with a vertical drop of 728 m/2388 ft. The stage passes along the ridge allowing a ride in the alpine zone.
Other amenities of the resort include supermarket, nightlife, cafes, restaurants and equipment store challenging you to spend more than one day out in the snow.
