Bear Valley is a ski area located near Angels Camp, on highway 4 between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite approximately 3 hours southeast of Sacramento, California, USA.
Bear Valley is the perfect place for skiing. Vertical drop is 1900 ft/579.1 m. Top elevation is 8500 ft/2591 m and base elevation 6600 ft/2012 m. The area covers 1.680 ac/6.8 km² of skiable area with total 67 runs, of which 25% are for beginners, 40% for intermediates and 35% for advanced athletes.
