The Les Deux Alpes ski resort is located in Isère Department in Rhone Alpes, southeast France near to Franco-Italian border. The resort, one of the oldest in France and in Europe, offers challenging and demanding runs both for winter snow activities and summer biking races.
Les Deux Alpes resort will give you a great skiing experience, on the biggest skiable glacier in the Alps. It boasts on having one of the greatest black slopes in the world, “La Grave” which is only to be skied down by experts with guides, no one on their own and no beginners. But this resort is also home to a lot of cruising runs for the intermediate skiers.
The resort has 55 lifts and a key card is required but doesn’t have to have picture. The resort is also great for beginners, offering a great and non painful progress with the ski school and green slopes. Traning schools intent to make you gliding down a blue slope from the top of the mountain, by the end of your stay on the spot. The resort is 2 hours away from Grenoble and 3 hours from Geneva, and is home to plenty of hotels, restaurants and lively bars.
