Stevens Pass Ski Resort is located at the boarder of King County and Chelan County, on the Cascade Mountains. The base elevation is at 4061 ft/1237 m and the summit of Cowboy mountain is 5845 ft/1784 m high, with a vertical drop of 1800 ft/548 m.
The resort offers 37 major runs that spread in over 1125 ac/4.55 km², on three sides of two different mountains. Skiers love it because of the quality of the powder snow and many days of sunshine.
