Valdezcaray is located in an area of forests and natural springs, at the Sierra de la Demanda mountains, the upper Oja Valley in the northern part of Spain.
This natural paradise offers 22 pistes of 22.6 km/14 mi and a vertical drop of 600 m/1968 ft. Top elevation is the San Lorenzo peak at 2125 m/6971 ft and the first lift is at 1530 m/5019 ft.
The resort has been renovated in the last years and includes 6 chair lifts and 1 ski tow. Most pistes are for intermediate skiers but there are also 10 beginner to easy and 2 expert pistes, so it is recommended for both serious skiers as well as beginners.
Accommodation can be found in the nearby town of Ezcaray, at 13 km/8 mi from the skiing area. There are a few shops and schools to buy, repair or even rent your equipment.
