For an amazing activity, the resort offers a skiable area of about 300 ac (1.2 km²) and a vertical drop of 350 ft (110 m). On the available 48 trails, snowboarding can be enjoyed by both novices and experts. There are 13 trails for beginners, 27 for intermediate snowboarders and 7 for those who are interested in something more extreme. The resort also offers three wooden carpets and 18 lifts. Furthermore, a state-of-the-art snowmaking system and a new cutting edge terrain park have been added.
For beginners, a ski school is available to teach them how to exercise their favorite sport, overcoming fear. Afton Alps also provides you with 3 rental shops, where you can find the appropriate equipment.
Don’t forget that you can practice snowboarding at night as well. The resort is open seven days a week and the most appropriate season is from October to April. After your activity, you can visit the nearby areas and taste delicious, traditional cuisine.
