A notorious route for snowboarding. Bennett Pass is located near the Tea Cup Lake, in Mt. Hood area.
A place for beginner to intermediate athletes and a great route when the trails up on the mountain are packed with people. Mount Hood has a lot of ski resorts and winter is a very busy time, as a lot of people find this spot the ideal ski area for their vacations.
The mentioned trail at Bennett Pass is an out and back trail, 3 mi/4.8 km long. When there is really bad weather on the upper trails, this is a good option because the condition of the snow is much better at the pass. This route is used for other sports as well, so stay on it because you will come across many bypasses.
The forested landscape is beautiful and you encounter many slopes to slide down, as well as challenging turns. Next to Government Camp and Mt Hood, you find plenty of accommodation and dinning places after a long day at the slopes.
