Glencoe mountain resort is one of the most worthwhile in Scotland and unlike others, this is not a poor alpine imitation. Its fabulous natural terrain makes it a small natural fun park. Due to Glencoe’s remote location, it is far less crowded than any other Scottish resort. Glencoe has 19 runs, that suit all levels. The biggest one is 1600 m/5249 ft long. There are also 7 lifts.
Beginners in snowboarding will not have any problems, since there are some ideal short runs to try, that can be easily reached. In addition, experienced instructors could help snowboarders, as lessons are available at Glencoe’s Snowsport School. On the other hand, experts have the opportunity to choose from an incredible  variety of terrain, not easy at all. Glencoe mountain resort includes the longest and the steepest runs in Scotland, offering about 305 m/1000 ft of vertical drop. It hosts also the longest vertical descent in the country of about 800 m/2624 ft.
