Mount Ashland is the tallest peak of Siskiyou Mountains, reaching at 7500 ft/2286 m. The spot is a majestic place to visit, if you are a fan of nature and sports.

The annual snowfall on the mountain overcomes 300 in/762 cm, with season starting early in December until mid of April.

The ski resort is very highly rated in the preferences of visitors, making it one of the best in the state of Oregon. There are 200 ac/0.80 km² of skiable terrain, 5% of which are easy routes for beginners, 20% for intermediate snowboarders, 25%  for advanced snowboarders and 50% for experts. There is a vertical drop at 1150 ft/350 m and the average temperature during the day in winter is at 25ºF/-3.88ºC. The longest run is 1 mile and there are four lifts to serve the up going skiers and boarders.
